A confirmation letter is a kind of acknowledgement letter, which can be taken as an opportunity to inform the reader the advantages of the correspondence or report sent earlier. It is nothing but a letter confirming the receipt of goods or correspondence or a kind of confirmation to the reader that the correspondence receipt or any other report has been received .It is a formal letter and sometimes is a thank you letter written by one person to another for their time and effort, and at times it acts as an acknowledgement letter confirming the acceptance of a correspondence or the report.
While confirming receipt of important correspondence like the resume, or appointment letter the reader should be given an expression that he or she has been taken seriously, and you are taking the necessary action. It gives the reader an assurance that you really value the person and would like to keep the association for a long term.
Confirmation letter should confirm and clarify that all people involved have the same knowledge of a correspondence and can be used as a record for future reference. Job confirmation letter is something given to an employee after a specific period of time or after the probation period. This letter confirms that he or she is become a permanent employee of the company. It is only given if after the review of the performance the employee is found satisfactory.
