A disagreement letter allows you to discuss your frustrations or concerns in a courteous and assertive way. There are many reasons why a disagreement letter is written, like at work with management, governmental letters with respect to property etc. Whatever the reason may be your disagreement letter should be clear, to the point and courteous explaining your point clearly. It is not a letter to show your anger or to abuse the reader but the focus should be on providing your opinion and solving the issue.
It is also a letter to object to any proposal. It’s very important to reject the proposal tactfully with facts and clearly to the reader, still maintaining the goodwill. Explain the reasons for the disagreement to the proposal in a courteous manner.
One important factor in writing the disagreement letter is to know who it has to be written to and it should go to the right person or the department. It is always better to make the letter formal rather than emotional.
While proving your point if necessary you can also write the positive feedback about the company or service. This will make the other person happy and he or she wouldn’t want to loose you as a customer, and you can expect an immediate resolution. This also helps the company understand that you not only see the negatives in them but also notice their positives. It is also important to provide all the necessary documents so that the reader can take necessary steps to resolve the disagreement.
