Reconsideration Letter
Reconsideration letter should include what you want the reader to reconsider, why you want them to take another consideration, what you are willing to do if the reader reconsiders. Provide the details of information and documentation that explains the adverse action letter. Explain the situation that you are in and how and why should the reader reconsider the letter.
Understand the denial reasons and plead for reconsideration based on the reasons and explanations. Explain your situation clearly and with more facts and honest feelings so that the reader reconsiders your letter or approves what you have been already denied. Start the letter by stating that you sent a letter earlier and that was denied give the reasons of the denial and explain why it should be reconsidered.
While writing reconsideration letter it’s very important to keep yourself in the reader’s place and think of the possible questions that could arise from the letter.Try to think what more information would be needed to take a decision. Include points that will help convince the reader to reconsider your appeal.
Reconsideration letter should not be taken as letter for taking out your anger or complaining about somebody or someone. Keep the focus or getting you problem solved through your reconsideration letter. Explain clearly what exactly the problem is and what all steps you had taken in the past to rectify and why you think that your situation should be reconsidered .Use a very formal language and be polite and straightforward while appealing. Close the letter by giving your contact details so that the reader can get back to you for further clarification. Always thank the reader for the time and consideration.
