Referral Letter
A referral letter is a letter that specifies the qualifications and abilities of the candidate seeking a job, which is given by a person who is known to the candidate. These letters help the employers or the decision makers get to know the candidate or the student better.
Always introduce first yourself, so that the reader takes an interest in your referral and then the person you are writing the referral letter for. You should clearly mention how long you have known the candidate, and about his or her qualities and qualifications .It should provide all the best qualities like the personal character, skills, capabilities, etc. and always authenticate what you write with examples wherever possible.
If you are not comfortable writing a referral letter it is better to avoid writing it as a vague and unreal letter might go against the candidate who is being referred.Explain the personal traits of the person regarding her/his communication skills, accomplishment and achievements. A good referral letter should have positive words like excellent, dependable, patient, reliable, trustworthy etc.
Always close the referral letter with a strong note and offer to provide more information if required.
