Social Event Letters
Social event letter is a formal letter inviting clients and customers to events, which are being hosted by the company. It should be written in a formal tone, even if it is being sent to family and friends. The first paragraph should have the introduction of the company and next paragraph should clearly provide information of the event like the date, time,venue and also the date by which the reply is expected.
It should also include specific details about the event, such as special attire, which has to be worn and any item the guest has to bring along with them, etc.
The tone of the letter should be positive and make the person feel invited. It helps build stronger relationships and makes the person feel that you value him or her. If there are tickets to be purchased specify the amount and how many tickets a person can buy. If the letter is to decline a social event invitation letter, do that politely by appreciating the reader for the invitation and expressing regret and giving reasons why you cannot make it to the event.
