Sponsorship Letter
Sponsorship letter is a kind of marketing letter where you market the event you want to get sponsorship for. So your approach should be courteous and polite as possible. Start the letter by specifying your company name if the sponsorship is for a company.
Give the complete details of the company and if it is on your behalf give details about yourself. Then explain the purpose of the event. Explain clearly what you expect the reader to do for you, if it is some amount you require or some items etc. Giving details will make it easier for the company to decide whether they should sponsor or not.
Give details about how many people will be attending, where is it expected to be conducted, will the media be included and who the chief guest is etc.Companies get such sponsorship letters all the time, so write an impressive letter that explains why this particular company matches to your event.
The tone of the letter should be of a request like “we will be grateful if you sponsor our event “etc.Thank the reader for the time and consideration and assure that the relationship with the company will not be affected, even if there is a refusal of sponsorship.
